1. Job Title: Senior Assistant Records Management Officer

(a) Job Objective
The incumbent is responsible for guaranteeing the safety and security of all records and documents. This includes proper filing, maintenance, and regular updates of records.
The officer will report directly to the Manager of Human Resources and Administration, and their responsibilities will include:
- Implementing records management programs in accordance with the Public Archives and Documentation Service Act.
- Ensuring received mail and documents are accurately filed and directed to action officers.
- Initiating file openings and conducting file indexing.
- Safeguarding information/files/documents within the secretariat and registry archives.
- Maintaining current and accurate records of file movements.
- Participating in the disposal of records as per the Board’s records retention/disposal schedule.
- Undertaking classification and indexing of records, media conversion, and scanning/microfilming.
Candidate Requirements:
To qualify for this role, candidates must:
- Possess a minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Hold a Diploma in Information Science Management, Records Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications.
- Exhibit meritorious performance and results.
- Meet the requirements stipulated in Chapter Six of the Constitution.
2. Job Title: Senior Assistant Archives and Documentation Officer
- Type of Employment: Full-Time
- Experience Required: 4 Years
- Location: Nairobi

Job Objective
The Archives and Documentation Officers are entrusted with the task of establishing and maintaining a repository for Kenya’s film records, as well as archiving and documenting them.
The officer will report directly to the Principal Archives and Documentation Officer, and their responsibilities will include:
- Establishing networks with film studios and facility houses.
- Gathering data on technical factors influencing filmmakers in their choice of destinations for production and post-production services.
- Identifying suitable locations for film shooting.
- Engaging in sensitization activities for clients and stakeholders regarding permission rights and clearance for filmmakers and producers.
- Compiling information on available production facilities, locations, crews, and shooting spaces.
- Collecting data on evolving trends in film production and exploring new opportunities for location services.
Candidate Requirements:
To qualify for this role, candidates must:
