For Economic Research Officers x2
- Candidates are required to have a post-graduate degree in Economics or a relevant Post Graduate degree with
strong focus on sustainable development. - Candidates must have at least 3 years experience of working on economic research and strong
analytical skills. - Candidates must also have experience working effectively in a small team.
- Addressing different audiences such as government officials, diplomats,
parliamentarians, civil society, and inter-governmental agencies – in writing and
in person. - Experience and/or demonstrable interest in development issues including debt,
vulnerability/vulnerability indices and financial technology. - Previously authored technical papers in peer-reviewed journals; book chapters
For Director of Communica
- Candidates for this position must have a post-graduate degree and/or professional experience relevant to communications, public relations, and the media, or international relations.
- Candidates must have at least fifteen years of experience in a senior managerial role, ten of which must be in international media roles.
- Candidates must also have experience as a Press/Special Adviser to a Senior Government Minister or similar or experience as a journalist to a national media outlet.
- Candidates must be strong public speakers, skilled briefers confident in briefing for all types of media channels, and have experience working with the political lobby within the UK, or similar political media handling experience.
- Candidates must be experienced in maintaining healthy and robust relations with senior news outlets, and have International (including UK) media experience.
- Experience in managing digital engagement and running a large Press Office is required.
Deputy Digital Content Editor – Communications Division
- Candidates for this position must have extensive experience in managing and developing social media across Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Candidates must also be experienced in creating and managing website content, writing, editing, and best practices for user-centered design.
- Candidates must have a working knowledge of creative software for design, video, and motion graphics.
- Candidates must be experienced in team leadership, establishing and maintaining productive working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and agencies.
- Candidates must possess a high degree of tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
