General Requirements for Rwanda Defence Force Recruitment
Candidates who want to be enlisted as recruits in the Kenya Defense Forces must fulfill the following requirements:
- Must be a Rwanda citizen with no dual citizenship
- Must be in possession of a valid Rwanda National Identity Card
- Eligible applicants must be of age between 18 and 30 years old
- Must be physically and medically fit in accordance with the RDF standards.
- Applicants must have no criminal record.
- Minimum Height:
- (a) Men, 1.60m (5ft 3in).
- (b) Women 1.52m (5ft)
- Minimum Weight
- (a) Men, 54.55 Kg (120 lb).
- (b) Women, 50.00 Kg (110 lb).
- Female candidates must NOT be pregnant at the time of recruitment and during the entire duration of training.
How to Apply for Rwanda Defence Force Recruitment 2024
To apply for the RDF recruitment exercise, follow these steps:
Step 1: Obtain the application form
The Rwanda Defence Force recruitment application form is available at all RDF Enlistment Offices nationwide, as well as at the Ministry of Defense Headquarters in Kigali.
The form can also be downloaded from the official NDF website at www.mod.gov.rw
Step 2: Complete the application form
Once in possession of the application form, complete it accurately and in full. Include your name, contact information, educational background, and employment history.
