Before submitting applications, all candidates are expected to meet the requirements attached to the position they are applying to fill. After confirming that they meet these requirements, they can now apply on the application portal. After the deadline, all candidates’ applications will then be assessed and the names of successful candidates will be published.
Successful candidates will also receive emails containing details of the next stage of recruitment which is usually the interview stage. Eligibility Criteria For UNIJOS Recruitment 2024
Candidates who are interested in this recruitment are expected to meet the requirements relevant to the positions they are planning to apply for. We have listed and categorized the requirements based on the available positions. See the requirements below:-
Senior Lecturer
- Candidates need to have a B.Sc degree or HND in Science Laboratory Technology with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Those with ANIST or AIST certification and 6 years of experience are also eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates with a Master’s degree in a relevant area can apply.
- Candidates must be registered with, or be eligible for registration with, the relevant professional bodies.
Lecturer I
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field, along with either 3 years of teaching experience at the university level or 6 years of teaching and research experience at a university.
- They should also have at least 5 scholarly publications already published and 2 letters of acceptance for upcoming publications.
Lecturer II
- Candidates must have an M.Sc, MA, or M.F.A. degree in relevant fields, with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience and 3 scholarly publications in reputable journals.
- Ph.D. holders without any publications are also eligible to apply.
- Professionals in the relevant field may apply as well.
- Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional bodies.
- For the Department of Dentistry, holders of a DM are also eligible to apply.
Assistant Lecturer
- Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree or HND in a relevant discipline with 3 years of experience.
- Those with ANIST or AIST certification and 6 years of experience are also eligible.
- Additionally, holders of a Master’s degree in relevant areas can apply.
- Candidates must be registered with, or eligible for registration with, the relevant professional bodies.
Note: Please note that all candidates MUST possess five (5) credits in GCE O’Level in English Language and four (4) other relevant subjects.
